Modern Thrifter: Swedish Mid Century

I was way out of my element, driving around Connecticut this past week.  This great little spot in Ridgefield specializes in Swedish pieces.  Due to the price I paid, it was not exactly “thrift”, but I have to share regardless.  Funny thing is, I could only find one other similar piece online.  It was signed by Tilgmans (also Swedish), but the one I have has a stamp which I can’t quite make out.  It starts with “Villa”.  Any thoughts or information you may have would be terrific.  Isn’t it just beautiful?

Hope everyone is doing well this week.  We’ve been on a whirlwind tour visiting old friends across the country.  Such a great way to start summer.  Been on any adventures yourself lately?  Special thanks to ATG & HLA for letting me join this week!

xx Noe
